We created an integrated watering well with approximately one liter of water that keeps plants watered for up to two weeks (depending on climate and species). The basin functions as a water conserving reservoir that allows roots to drink from the bottom while breathing through the front and sides. Best of all, everything you need to get started in included.

The MC Collection is driven by the notion that products designed for the home should be timeless in nature and founded in heritage. Quality-driven and created with love. These pieces are designed and manufactured with the goal to be cherished, shared and even "fought over" by generations to come.
Composed of a series of pieces that all share similar modular components, but take on distinctive roles in the home through their use of surface materials and finishes. The approach combines today's knowledge of modern industrial design with the family owned metal foundry Cirecast, one of the only foundries of its kind left in the US.
The Pulse is a portable, emergency battery charging jump rope designed to promote physical activity and spread awareness about the global energy problem.
The Pulse is a jump rope, just like any other. However, what makes the Pulse so unique is that it also acts as a portable battery charger—plug it in to your wall or laptop, charge it up and take it with you. You can also charge up your Pulse by using it as a jump rope. So when you need a little more power and you aren’t near an outlet, you have the option to play!
The Pulse harnesses the rotational energy generated each time you jump. It works similarly to a bicycle generator or windmill in this fashion. On each handle, there is a plastic connector that connects the rope to the handle. Inside each handle, there is a DC motor, PCB — or “brain” coordinating the process, and a rechargeable lithium ion battery.
As the rope rotates around you, the connector on each handle turns, turning the motor that then powers the battery. At the end of each handle is a stereo jack — our standard plug across our products. When you want to get the power out of the handles, you can plug our accessories directly into the handles, or plug in our supplied USB adaptor to use your USB products.
Currently 15 minutes of normal skipping can yield over 2 hours of light on our standard portable lamps.
For every Pulse purchased, one child in the developing world gets access to our energy generating play products and our Think Out of Bounds social invention curriculum. Check them out at unchartedplay.com
This is the world's first true wireless WiFi camera we designed for LifeSmart.
In partnership with LifeSmart we created this product to challenge the conventional icon of what an in-home camera should look like. Designed to be at home in the home, we chose to reference the rectangular geometry of a room rather than the traditional round optics of a camera.
You have never seen digital work this beautiful. Frame's 4K display is so clear that you won't even think about pixels—because your eye won't be able to see them.
Frame was lovingly handcrafted from American maple, and the matte border and display mean that reflection has been all but eliminated.
Every home and collection is different, so we needed Frame to be versatile. On the wall Frame rotates smoothly, and freestanding you can switch easily between the included portrait or landscape stands.
A set of reversible catch-alls, cast in brass and designed to last forever.
Designed and manufactured in San Francisco in 2014.
