Plume Pods

Plume is a technology company that set out to eliminate the pain points of setting up WiFi by essentially replacing the traditional router with ‘Pods’. These Pods, when placed in outlets throughout your house, can focus and redirect WiFi reception where it’s most needed in the home. Branch was brought on to help create the center of this ecosystem: the Pod itself.

Our approach was to create a family of iconic objects that challenge the traditional consumer electronic look of white glossy boxes and constant blinking lights. Instead we created a soft hexagonal form that nests with other Pods to present a unified look both in and out of the box and chose colors and finishes that are at home in the home.
